Because we care about your privacy, we provide this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information received from visitors to changeforthechildren.com ("Site"). Information Collected

Our primary goals in collecting information are to process donations made through our Site, to communicate with you, and to manage your registered user account, if you have one. We collect, store and process the information we collect in the United States. By visiting our Site and providing information to us, you consent to our collection in, transfer to, and use and processing of such information in the U.S.

If you wish to contribute to the Jonas Brothers' Change For The Children Foundation via the Site, you will be asked to submit certain personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information that we may collect in such instances may include your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and credit card billing information.

Log Data. When you visit the Site, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, and any links on which you click. We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Site and for the Site's technical administration. We do not associate your IP address with any other personally identifiable information to identify you personally, except in case of violation of the Terms of Use.

Cookies

Like many sites, we also use "cookies" to collect additional website usage data and to improve the Site. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer's hard disk. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information. Use of Information. We will use your personal information to process contributions you make through the Site. We may also use it to contact you in the future regarding our services, regarding products and services related to the Jonas Brothers, and regarding other charitable organizations that we think may interest you. If you contact us by email, we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence, and may use your email address, and any information that you provide to us in your message, to respond to you. We may also use information collected to evaluate and improve the Site and the user experience.

Sharing of Information. We may share the information that we collect with the operators of our affiliated sites, such as www.jonasbrothers.com, www.jonasbrothersmerch.com and www.myspace.com/jonasbrothers.com, and with the operators of other charitable organizations that we think may be of interest you. We may also hare anonymous demographic information and usage data with third parties on an aggregate basis.

Service Providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, such as hosting and maintenance, database storage and management, and credit card processing. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary for them to perform these functions, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring them to maintain the privacy and security of your data. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. Our policy is to cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect our rights and interests or those of a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to otherwise comply with applicable court orders, laws, rules and regulations.

Changing or Deleting Information

You may at any time access and update or correct the information you provided to us by e-mailing us at info@changeforthechildren.org. Security

We are very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality and use of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Please be aware that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Third Parties & Links to Other Websites Our Site may contain links to other websites. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, and collect or solicit both personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information from you. Other sites follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the information they collect and use. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites and services you visit.

Our Policy Towards Children

If a child under the age of 13 wishes to contact us through the Site with a one-time question, we will only ask for the child's first name and email address together with the name and address of a parent or legal guardian. We will use such information only to respond to the question, will copy the parent or guardian on all correspondence, and will delete all information afterwards.

Otherwise, we do not knowingly accept contributions or collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal identifiable Information, we will delete it from our files. If parents or guardians become aware that their minor children have provided us with personally identifiable information without their consent (or that we have otherwise collected or obtained such information), they should contact us at info@changeforthechildren.org. We recommend that minors between the ages of 13 and 18 ask their parents for permission before using a credit card or sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

Unsubscribing

All e-mails you receive from us will include specific instructions on how to unsubscribe from receiving further communications from us and you may unsubscribe at any time. Additionally, we give you the following options for removing your information from our database:

(1) send an email to info@changeforthechildren.org;

(2) select the opt-out link at the bottom of any email from us and follow the instructions provided;

(3) send mail to Jonas Brothers' Change For The Children Foundation, c/o MSL Philanthropy, 11 Penn Plaza, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, Attn: John McMahon.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. California residents who have an established business relationship with us may also choose to opt-out of our disclosing personal information about them to third parties. If you do not want us to share your personal information with such third parties, please send us your name, address and phone number to info@changeforthechildren.org. Your opt-out request will be processed within 30 days of the date it was received.

Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time, and we will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy here and changing the effective date above. Each version will apply to information collected while it was in place. Therefore, we encourage you to check this page periodically for any changes.
